Certification
The certificate age for our short film sequence is 15, the reasons for this are that the genre of our film is horror, therefore violent nature will be expected within our film and is acceptable for the viewing of people aged 15 and onwards. Within our film violence will be shown but will not dwell on the infliction of pain or injury, adding to this there could be potentially a great deal of strong language, for the 15 certificate there is ni upper limit on the uses of strong language. But the suspected strongest terms do not exceed as they concede to be aggressive and will not be passed.

Budget and Box office
To get a rough idea of the Budget that the film would initially cost I have analysed the film 'Scream' as it is of a similar genre to our short film and aslo follows comparable connections within the plot of the movie.

Title of film
Jigsaw
We have decided to name our film Jigsaw because the plot of our storyline follows the plan of a puzzle, because as people are murdered within the movie the characters that are left do not know of the killer and also there is a specific twist within the film that is a 'puzzle' to the audience.
Production company name
FocusFilms - this name was chosen because it is simple and easy to remember and understand the companies domain.
Target audience
Our target audience wil be aimed at the age range of 15-45 because the appropriate age to start with is 15 as explained above under certification, additionally we stopped at 45 because the older generation are not exposed to this variety of film genre because of the explicit content. The gender of our film will predominately aimed of the male sex as it is stereotyped that the male sex tend to cope better with horror films, however the female sex will also want to watch the film as these stereotypes are lifting because of modern day feminism.
Plot
A killer known as Jigsaw begins killing off teenager, and as the body count begins rising, one girl and her friends find themselves contemplating the "rules" of horror films as they find themselves living in a real life one.
